Skin Clear Facial Serum

This gentle facial serum is an ideal replacement for commercial water based moisturizers. An easy swap to make for plastic bottles and water based serums which contain preservatives and synthetic ingredients. This product will last on average 3 times longer because of the concentration of plant oils, not diluted with water or anything else. The plant oils are extremely light and are quickly absorbed by the skin, carrying with them essential nutrients which soothe and cool redness. Suitable for people with combination and oily skin, prone to spots and breakouts.

Grapeseed oil is an excellent source of omega 6. It stimulates the skin’s circulation, improving the appearance of scars and blemishes. Grapeseed oil is very effective at reducing pore size.

Evening primrose oil has a powerful anti-inflammatory action which is very useful for treating sensitive skin types prone to redness and broken veins. It contains GLA which prevents hormonal breakouts. It penetrates deep down into the skin healing scar tissue and wounds.

Jojoba oil has unique properties which resemble sebum. It stops the skin from over producing oil which would otherwise clog the pores. It has a cleansing action on the skin pushing out dirt and bacteria.

I have finally updated this recipe and I am very happy to have been able to add turmeric oil. Turmeric is a potent anti-inflammatory which is essential when fighting skin prone to breakouts. It also boosts collagen production which again speeds up recovery from wounds reducing the risk of scarring.

The combination of essential oils have an anti-bacterial action and help to balance the sebum production. They heal and nourish the skin, preventing further breakouts.

Directions 👉This soothing facial serum can be worn under make-up or applied at night. Most effective when massaged into slightly moist skin. Perfect applied after splashing your face with water or misting with a flower water toner. A few drops goes a long way.
